Secret Inca
Why We Picked Secret Inca
Secret Inca is a level to get through rather than a world to live in, and it is better for the limit. A small map, a clear goal, and no apology at all for the scale. A good level here has a rhythm: a quiet stretch, a hazard, a moment to breathe before the next one. It has been opened 9,110 times, and the retry counter is probably higher. By the numbers: 3.9 out of 5 from 275 ratings, and 69 of 183 on the adventure shelf.
How to Play
Three rules cover almost everything this game asks of you:
- The arrow keys do the steering and everything else is timing.
- Get to the end of the level and keep what you picked up on the way.
- Use the fullscreen view; the edges of the level matter as much as the middle.
Editor’s Note
The honest limit: the story stops early, and the last level arrives before you expect it. A level that cannot be finished is usually a route problem rather than a control problem, which is worth remembering.

Secret Inca sends you deep into ancient ruins in the boots of Jack, an explorer with one obsession: finding as many of the lost Inca diamonds as he can carry. This is a platform game in the classic mold, where every level is a treasure hunt wrapped in jumps, hazards, and the quiet thrill of spotting a gem tucked somewhere dangerous.
You guide Jack through the ruins with standard platforming controls — arrow keys or WASD to run and jump — exploring each stage for the precious stones hidden throughout. Reaching the exit is one thing, but the real goal is thorough exploration, because diamonds rarely sit on the main path. The most valuable finds are usually guarded by the trickiest jumps or tucked behind the most suspicious-looking walls.
The platforming itself is about reading the environment. Gaps, elevated ledges, and crumbling ancient architecture stand between Jack and his prizes, and the levels gradually demand sharper timing and bolder routes. Rushing through a stage will get you to the end, but completionists will want to backtrack, check corners, and take the risky detours — that is where the diamond count really climbs.
A few habits will fill your pockets faster. Explore high before low: gems love upper ledges, and it is easier to drop down than to climb back up. If a jump looks barely possible, it probably leads somewhere worth going, so attempt it rather than assuming it is decoration. Keep a mental note of spots you skip on the way forward so you can sweep them on the return trip. And when the ruins punish a greedy leap, learn from it — usually the safer angle exists if you look for it.
Secret Inca is a comfortable fit for fans of classic treasure-hunting platformers and anyone who enjoys exploration over speed. It plays free in your browser on desktop and mobile, making it an easy adventure to dip into whenever the call of lost gold strikes.
