Paper Craft Wars
Why We Picked Paper Craft Wars
Sixty levels, three races, and a spell list give the campaign a shape that most browser real-time games skip entirely, which is the main reason to try it. Capturing buildings rather than grinding units into each other is the tactical layer, which rewards reading the map before committing your first squad. A bigger game than the twenty-fourth of 31 placing suggests, and sixty levels are the evidence for saying so, before the spell list is even mentioned.
How to Play
Three things decide whether a run here goes well:
- Pick one of the three races, then capture buildings to extend your army's options.
- Clear each of the twenty levels a race offers by beating the enemy force.
- Spend skills and spells on the fight you are losing rather than the one already won.
Editor’s Note
The art style is paper cutout, which keeps the small units legible even on a very busy map. Six game modes mean the campaign is not the only way in, and the achievements add a long tail.
