Why We Picked Office.io
The whole game is a series of yes-or-no decisions about your staff, and every answer moves a motivation meter whose bottom you cannot see until it arrives. Deny too much and the office turns strange, approve everything and nothing gets done, and the meter decides which of those you see. A tiny experiment rather than a full management sim, sitting 448th of 500 in Arcade and honest about what it is, which is not much more than a premise.
How to Play
Three things decide whether a run here goes well:
- Read each employee request and approve or deny it, watching how the decision lands.
- Keep motivation from bottoming out, because unhappy staff start doing genuinely unpredictable things.
- Balance approvals across the whole team rather than saying yes to whoever asks loudest.
Editor’s Note
A short management toy rather than a campaign, with only two reviews behind it. The comedy comes from the collapse rather than the climb, so the first genuinely bad decision is usually the interesting one.
