Nekoman vs Gangster 2
Why We Picked Nekoman vs Gangster 2
Nekoman vs Gangster 2 is a short platforming errand, and it does not pretend to be a campaign. The hazards are legible, the shortcuts are earned, and the retry is instant. The difficulty curve is a set of small steps, and each level adds a hazard rather than a rule. The reason it stayed is the route design: there is usually a faster way than the obvious one. The page's own numbers: 20K plays, 3.9 out of 5 from 328 ratings, and 18 of 183 on the adventure shelf.
How to Play
Three things decide whether a run here goes well:
- Everything responds to a tap, which is the only input the game asks you to learn.
- Reach the end of the level with what you picked up on the way.
- Look at the whole screen before moving; the exit is usually drawn rather than signposted.
Editor’s Note
A phone works, but the jumps want the precision of a keyboard. Fullscreen matters more here than on the adventure shelf, since the visible edge of the level is information.

Nekoman vs Gangster 2 is a 2D platformer and the second chapter in the Nekoman vs Gangster series, putting you in the paws of a nimble cat with a dangerous to-do list. Every level is littered with silver keys, and collecting them all is your ticket to the exit door and the next stage. Standing between you and that door is a small army of gangsters, and they are not pleased to see you.
The controls are classic platformer fare. Move with the WASD or arrow keys, and press W or the Up arrow to jump. Tap the jump key twice for a double jump, which is essential for reaching keys on high ledges and clearing wide hazards. The gangsters patrol their territory and open fire, so you are constantly weaving between bullets, hopping over saws, and timing your routes past enemies you cannot afford to fight head-on.
There are eight levels in total, and the difficulty climbs steadily as you go. Early stages introduce the basics with generous layouts and slow threats, while later ones pack in more gangsters, faster bullets, and saw placements that demand precise jumps. Finishing all eight is a satisfying run of escalating challenges.
Smart play beats fast play here. Watch an enemy's patrol pattern before you move, and plan your route so you grab keys in an order that avoids backtracking through danger. Save your double jump for when you truly need it, since spending it carelessly often leaves you short on the next gap. Remember that you do not have to fight every gangster; slipping past them is usually the wiser option.
Platformer fans, cat lovers, and anyone who enjoyed the first Nekoman game will have a good time with this one. It is compact, challenging without being cruel, and easy to jump into for a level or two at a time.
