Why We Picked Maxoo 2
Maxoo 2 keeps its levels short, its retries cheap and its hints to itself. The screen is readable at a glance, so you can plan the next jump while finishing this one. The levels are short because the fun is in the route, not the length. It holds its place because the route is the reward, and there is more than one worth taking. The page's own numbers: 127 of 183 on the adventure shelf, 3.8 out of 5 from 26 ratings, and 1,212 plays.
How to Play
What you actually do, in order:
- Steer with the arrows and let the game handle the rest of the inputs.
- Collect what the level marks and ignore the rest; the counter is the goal, not the scenery.
- Take the high route when the low one is crowded with hazards.
Editor’s Note
Playable with one hand, which is more than most platformers can claim. It gives you a jump, a direction and a level that fits on one screen.
