Intergalactic Battleship
Why We Picked Intergalactic Battleship
Two grids, hidden ships and a single click at a time: the whole game lives in the gap between what you know and what you have guessed. Your own fleet is already on the board, so a miss on the enemy grid costs nothing except the information you needed anyway. Its case rests on length, since a short coffee break is all it asks: small, quiet, and settled by pattern rather than by reaction speed.
How to Play
Three things decide whether a run here goes well:
- Click a square on the enemy grid to fire, then read the hit or miss.
- Locate and destroy every enemy ship on the grid before your own fleet is eliminated.
- Work a checkerboard pattern early, so each hit narrows the search to four squares.
Editor’s Note
The classic grid duel with no tutorial and a tiny player base. Two grids and a short round make it a coffee-break game rather than a full evening, and the guessing is the whole skill.
