Drunken Boxing 2
Why We Picked Drunken Boxing 2
Drunken Boxing 2 is a five-minute match with the real rules and arcade timing, in that order. A run of play is built from small wins — a stop, a pass, a shot — rather than one big one. This is arcade handling with the rulebook left open. It has 146 plays here; the ones that stay are usually the ones with two players on one keyboard. The page's own numbers: 474 of 500 on the arcade shelf, and 5.0 out of 5 from 2 ratings.
How to Play
What you actually do, in order:
- Arrow keys move you and nothing else needs mapping.
- Finish the match ahead, and accept that a browser sport rarely asks for more than that.
- Learn one reliable shot and one reliable pass before adding anything decorative to the repertoire.
Editor’s Note
Fine on a laptop keyboard, usually awkward on a phone, where the on-screen buttons crowd the play area. It is a match, a scoreline and a restart button, and nothing else is asked of you.
